Star one CSS under the guardianship program, is here to advocate for those adjudicated incapacitated or a person in need of a guardian under MHL article 81.
Regardless of one's financial situation, Star one CSS will work to ensure the client is protected and maintained in the least restrictive setting available.
The process
Once Star one CSS is appointed to its position, we immediately begins the process of assisting the individual by visiting with and accessing the situation.
With our team of trained case managers and finance managers, Star one CSS works to determine the least restrictive living environment and what available financial resources and programs are available.
Once placement and finances are in order, Star one CSS continues it’s involvement through regular comprehensive service planning, ongoing visitation, material support, and reporting to the courts,
